Help with choosing an audition song?

You could sing Johnny One Note, it's an amazing song. And it's a little on the long side, but I'm guessing you'll only be aloud to sing 16 bars. So just cut the song to 16 bars, and it'll be great :) And it's a great belting song too! And it's from Babes in Arms, it's one of the more upbeat songs in the show. And I reccomend that you DON'T sing from the show. Because it's kind of a number one rule that you never sing from the show. Because the director might have a character in mind for you, and if you sing a different character song, that you didn't do so well at. She might not call you back. (If that makes sense). But I hope this helps :) Good luck :) Oh and I always sing that song and I always get a callback with it. :) So it's defenitely a great choice, because you'll probably get a callback with that song too :)
