How do I tell my live-in boyfriend that I want to stay in a hotel alone for a few nights?

I moved across the country about a year ago to live with my boyfriend. I love him very much, but we spend every waking moment together. We both work but at the same time each day. I also have no family or friends around the area. I feel like I may be getting bored. I hate to say that because I love being with him, but I'm a very active and spontaneous person and he is not. He doesn't like to do things or try things just because. He is a very serious and business orientated being. I love him regardless, but I'm tired of sitting around the house. I'm trying to get more involved with activities, like yoga and cooking classes to occupy my time. I have caught him masturbating a few times, but he says its not because he's tired of me. Its just what men do. I deff. do not believe that it is because he is not attracted to me! He has said once in the past that he'd like more time to himself, but its hard when I have no place to go. Also, I was in a car accident a few months ago leaving me with no transportation other than taxis. I rely on taxis and my boyfriend for rides to and from work. I understand what a burden this must be. Would I jeoparize my relationship if I were to tell him that i'd like to stay in ahotel for a night or two to clear my mind and spend some alone time?
