Could the Beatles be considered the best band in the world?

Could the beatles be considered the greatest band ever, there is no other band that has had as much negative and positive influence on America, They were the most loved and the most hated, they sold out Shea stadium, I don't think that people have ever reacted to any other band like they did to the beatles. In my opinion I think they are at least the most historic band, Im not saying they are the best but if you look at it what other band went through as much as they did, and please don't mention Michael Jackson im talking about band and musician also Elvis presley
