A friend please help?

I have this really close sister that was a great gymnast and a wonderful friend, she has competed her whole life but at the last competition she landed wrong on and hit her shoulder and head when she got to the hospital tey did test and xrays and stuff like that and they told her that she will no longer be able to do her dream as a gymnast again, she just got home yesterday and she is my adopted sister, her mom abused her and her dad was killed overseas and her mom died last year, since she has been home all she has been doing is laying in bed crying, i wanna cheer her up some how but don't know what to say or do she is in a wheelcheer and a brace right now i need some good remedies and really good ideas on trying to cheer her up. please help
