Why do men play hide and seek (details below)?

You definitely need to talk to him about it. This has been going on for long enough. It sounds to me like he may be trying to get your attention and just not communicating that though words. He probably wants you to think he wants to divorce you, but he really just wants to scare you so you'll spend more time with him. Three months ago how were things? Were you spending alot of time together? Maybe he misses you but doesn't want to say it. Anyways talkkk it out.
