My girlfriend's depressed and she won't tell me why?

Ok my girlfriend and I (she's 16 and I'm turning 16 on the 18th) have been dating for about half a year but after about 1 month she moved to Washington (the state) and I live in California....... do u see where this is going? A whole bunch of ****'s happening to her all the time and I want to know why so I can be there for her and tey to make her feel better. The problem is I CAN'T be there for her cause she lives a state away and it's killing me cause I know I could help if I was actually with her. idk what to do I want to help her but i can't and that's the thig that keeps me up at night worrying about her all the tine somebody please tell me wha to do (if u tell me to dump her i will kill you and everyone u love........ that's a joke)

Everyone says Im just looking for a happy pill. My ex complained about me whining and trying to get everyones attention so they can pity me. The lack of others' understanding helps none. Am I living with maniacs?

I'm 15 and I'm old enough to know what's wrong and right. I don't go out with friends so that makes me unpopular in school. Need help with putting game on laptop for college?

So, I'm headed off to college now, and i want to continue to have Empire Earth 2 to occupy some free time, but my younger brother will still be at home and wants access to the game. It's one of the older style games that doesn't allow you to do a full install to run the game without the disc, so I was curious if there was a possible way to emulate the disc. I've already attempted copying all files from the original CD-ROM to a DVD, but that didn't work. Any suggestions, or any other places I could check for help?

I would like some helpful and reasuring advice of anybody that can help please, i have called the police on my partner a few times in the past because of events that has happened where he has pushed me when i am pregnant and a couple of times exagerated it because he tryed to walk out on me and run away and i was scared to be alone and i suffer with anxiety so my first response was to call the police, anyway because of the amount of times they were called my midwife got involved and got a mental health team to assess me and they said i have no mental health issues and arranged a cafe meeting and recommended that i go on a freedom course which i did not think benefited me i refused the caf meeting because there was certain people she invited that i did not feel was close to me and i didnt really want to know my business, so she passed it on to social services and they have now got involved and carried out an intial assesment today i told them i want to try and work things out with my partner and they suggest i try and get some help from my gp with my anxiety and i said ok i will call them up and arranged an appointment as i just want to get on with my life with my partner and my baby now as we have sorted things out between us, they said tey will need to give my partner a call tomorrow as he will be working so they suggested tey call him instead and i said ok and that they will come back on tuesday and speak to me and would appreciate i have made the doctors appointment before then, i am so scared what will happen next i do not have any intention of calling the police again after all of this greif and i just want to get on with my life now hassle free , do you think they will call of when they come back next week and see i that i have booked a doctors appointment and that me and my boyfriend are trying to work things out for the best and our baby, i am 6monts pregnant and im so scared, any help would be appreciate thanks

How to deal with him being suicidal?

My ex boyfriend who i'm still very close to is always threatening me with "I'm going to kill myself." I don't know how to handle it. He cuts and burns himself. He overdosed last month and ended up in ICU. They let him out but he still abuses drugs (pills) but no one does anything about it. Ok well im about a b or a c but no bra fits me. I have had depression for a while and my weight bounces around like crazy. I lost about 20 pounds in like a month and it mostly dissapeared from my breasts. I have about an inch or a little less than an inch of excess skin. My areolas are different sizes and one of my breasts have more excess skin than the other. I am 15 and ik i might still be growing but i need a way to get rid of this skin. Well let me put it this way, if your going for back problems and are hoping to get pain medication to help then yes they are going to test for other drugs, and if it shows up you can kiss your chances of getting any kind of medicine to help your pain, they will view you as a potential drug abuser. They most definetly test for other drugs because they aren't about to hand a druggy a prescription for drugs. How do I know, well I am a Pain Mgmt Therapist for starters, I have a shoulder injury and before they handed me my percocets, I had to take some blood and piss tests. I am 14 years old, I live without any income from my parents (who are a pair of twats who hate me), I don't have a girlfriend nor do I have to the money to go out with the little friends I have, I can't buy anything or do anything or go anywhere that is further than a walk away from where I live. I've been backstabbed by several family members how can I get past this?

Unable to qualify to refinance coborrower wants out?

I purchased a home and my mom cosigned as what I'd believed to be a non occupying co-borrower at the time which I came to find out she was actually a joint tenant on the mortgage. She moved in with me shortly after I bought it due to my parents divorcing and now because I have a family she has moved out. She told me I had a week to get the loan out of her name but I'm finding this impossible because I couldn't qualify for the loan on my own in the first place, which is why I asked her to cosign with me. It is a FHA loan and I know they have exceptions for her to purchase her own home without me having to refinance my home and get the mortgage out of her name. I have always made the payments and have lived in the house for almost 2 years never having one late payment. When I spoke to a loan officer she told me I can submit documentation showing I've been making the payments, and an affidavit saying I'm responsible for the payments and that would satisfy their requirements. Anyone been successful at doing this? My mom had her name removed from the deed (divorce trying to get as much as she could) but the mortgage was never refinanced, now she is angry with me about her name being on the mortgage. Is there any way I can go without having to refinance. I can't come up with money for closing costs in such short time.

Beginner guitarist stuck on what to do next?

I'm 17 and just got my first acoustic guitar last Thursday. I've been doing lessons online and learning the intros to simple songs as well as the basic chords. I'm having trouble switching chords quickly, of course. But it's really getting old just switching chords for an hour.. The first day I got my guitar, I played for 7 hours, the second day 5 hours, the third 3 hours, and now I'm only playing like an hour a day, if that... I completely understand that it takes patience to learn, but is there anything else I could practice to keep me motivated? I'm just so bored with doing the same things over and over again, so if anyone has any advice on what else I could do to increase my chord changing speed while keeping occupied, it would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Hi, so me and my boyfriend moved in recently and we live in a nice cozy little apartment :))). I love it, me and my BF are bonding so much more now that we live together. How do I keep my puppy entertained when she's in a gated area while we aren't home?

I have a 3 month old Golden Retriever puppy and we have her gated in a small laundry room when it's bedtime or while we are away. And she gets bored and once we let her out she's extremely hyper. It looks as if she just sleeps the whole time she's penned up. Is there anything I can do or give her in that small space to keep her occupied? She's got a Kong but only licks the rim of it for a few minutes then loses interest. I know she will have lots of energy when I do finally let her out, but I don't want her to sleep all day and associate the pen with something negative. I want her to look forward to being in there when we aren't home or are asleep. It's also causing her to not want to come in after we go outside-she'll run from me when I try to get her to take her inside. You know a power strip that allows you to plug multiple outlet plugs into it to power multiple electrical appliances.The power strip itself is attached to an extension chord that is plugged into a wall outlet. The six appliances that occupy the six outlet plugs are my computer (tower), my monitor, computer speakers, power plug for modem/router, then I switch off one of the outlets between a lamp and printer (I have ran out of outlets so this is how I use both). The last outlet on this power strip is occupied with another extension chord which is attached to yet another power strip. On this other strip, I have a 36 inch flat screen t.v. plugged in, an alarm clock, a DVD player, and a 120 watt guitar amp (I don't always have the guitar amp on obviously but when I do I don't remove any plug). I hope you have already guessed that in this room there are no wall outlets, which is of course why I do all of this. I guess I'm trying to ask, IS THIS SAFE! I actually really think about it when I'm switching the one plug between my lamp and printer (don't want to get shocked), or when I'm playing my guitar (afraid of damage to amp). I had the exact same situation. My ex broke up with me on new years of all times for one, it sucked more because I'm military so I was also away from family and alone. But on top of it I was also really sick with something medical couldn't really figure out. They just kept putting me sick in quarters. Basically days off. But I understand. I was alone and couldn't do anything. I called my parents a lot and talked to friends from work. I watched lots of movies that were as far from relationship related as possible and listened to music that I knew would cheer me up a bit. I also did a lot of sleeping and focused on getting better though it wasn't easy. When I was finally able to start going out I got some books. He's Just not That Into You was good. I also called up a good friend that took me out and helped keep my mind off things whenever I needed. A break up buddy I believe its called. Worked quite well. Write an upset letter to your ex that you won't send. It helps get the feelings out. Make a list of the bad things from the relationship so you have reminders whenever you start missing him. You can look back and say no that was bad I'm better without it. Whatever helps. Just try to stay positive and get better. Focus on yourself, spoil yourself. Things will get better I promise you, it just takes time. Best thing to do is reach out to friends and family. They'll help you. Good luck, get well soon. Things won't be bad forever, you just gotta remember that.

My dad and mom got me a 6 month old black lab from the SPCA and my whole family fell in love with him! He was already house trained, he was sweet and loving. We relized something was wrong when he started coughing and no eating. So we took him to the vet and tey said tha the distemper. 2 weeks later we had to put him down. It was one of the hardest things that I ever had to go through, but atleast he is in a better place now and not suffering. We put him down one day before thanksgiving. I was best friends with this girl all last summer up until this past February. We hung out literally every single day and we were like sisters. Rock music is a boy's game. I hate to say it :( It's harder for women to get into it because rockstars are supposed to look badass and act tough, so women would have the same expectation. A woman can't look badass without looking somewhat butch. Standards are soo incredibly high for women to always be pretty that it wouldn't work. There is this girl that i like, when we met we talked and had a good connection, i told her that i liked her, but she said that she didnt really want a relationship now. So i backed off, later on we spoke more and more and talked practically everyday. Later down the line we stopped talking for like weeks, and every once in awhile we would talk. She lives about 100 miles away from me, and there is this church service that we go to about once a month. So when i would see her after not talking all that much we would hang out and it would be cool. As time passed she was telling me personal things about herself and was asking me for my advice on different things. I started to see a connection and i got a comfortability with her. She was even wondeing at one point why i was being so distant when we would not talk for awhile. She was to be married, but called it off back in august, the guy didnt cheat on her, but he did other stuff that was not right. She has felt really bad about having to call it off and was even missing the guy and felt really lonely. There was a period where she was going through some things with him after the break up where he was being uncooperative on certain things. Well now she has been moving on, she mentioned that she has trust issues with her dad, we had planned for me to go out there and see her and hangout, prior to that day happening, she was texting me telling me she was excited that i was coming down because she will be able to spend some time with me. I told her i felt the same way, she was even going on line to pick out things for us to do .i went out there met her entire family and had a good time, and we planned to hang out on in 2 weeks. She even said it would be cool for me to come down at least once a month. The next day i texted her to let her know i got home safe and that i had a great time, she texted me back to tell me she had a great time to and that she was looking forward to out next hang out. Then she text me saying she missed me and to come back to see her, i said back to her that i miss her too and i will be there soon. Didnt hear back from her for the rest of the day, i figured she was busy so i left it. The next day i didtn text her or anything, i didnt want to show her that i was being to eager. Then the next day her tone seemed pretty different, she was just asking me about something and i answered her, we spoke a litle through texting, and then she didnt get back to me for the rest of the day, i then texted her goodnight and she texted me back telling me she was sorry she didnt get back to me until now, and told me what she was occupied with and told me good night. Then i called her the next day and we spoke a little, after that there was no contact at all the next day until the day after that where she asked me a question, i answered it, and i didnt hear back from her, i left it and didnt say anything else, the next day, i didnt hear from her at all. So yesterday i texted her and she got back like 7 hours later, we spoke a little, and she even invited me to call her. I did but one of her other friends called her and she told me she will call me back after she was done. I told her ok, and that if i dont answer its because im on the train and for her to leave me a message..It was getting late so she texted me to tell me she was going to bed and that she would try to catch up with me sometime this week. So im wondering if i did anything wrong, or if you see a change in the way she is acting now, im like why would you go to saying you miss me to ill try to catch up with you sometime this week. And thats if i even hear from her, i know she is not that busy at all, shes bored where she is living at.

What should I do after an inconclusive phone interview?

I sent a cover letter and resume into a dental clinic a week ago to be a dental assistant. I really want to be a dentist. The manager called me and left me a voicemail yesterday saying that she would like to discuss some options with me. I called back and talked to her today--I thought it was going to be phone interview, but I didn't really have to talk about myself at all. She asked me how many hours I could work, about my education, and told me that I could start off my volunteering and shadowing which may become a job later. I said that the offer sounded great and she told me she would talk to the dentists and other staff in the back and call me to arrange an interview and tour. I thought it would be a 20 minute -1hour wait but she hasn't called me yet and I doubt she's going to call me by the end of today. I feel like this conversation is a bit inconclusive and it's killing me...what step should I take next if she doesn't call in the next three days? Is she rejecting me nicely or could she be busy/occupied?

So I've had this super close pal for a a few years now. Recently, I just get the vibe that she delights in making me out to be a fool. Like she suddenly feels more powerful, like she's beat me at something. I don't get it! But the problem is, when I get this vibe, it makes me feel annoyed and frustrated - and ultimately a little competitive back. I don't even mean to feel that way, it just happens. And the bad part is, I can't even tell if this is all in my head or not. Just recently she moved into a house with 4 of my very good friends that she met through me. I opted not to move in too because I liked my current living place. But the moment they all moved in together, she just started acting like I was less important, like she could ignore me to seem dominant because she had other friends to occupy herself with and didn't need me. That they all moved in together doesn't bother me that much and I'm content with my decision. Its the fact that I feel like she thinks she's won some game that doesn't exist. Like she finally has the upper hand...and it really frustrates the hell out of me! I don't know how to address this because I don't know whats actually happening.
